Leading our consulting division is Santhush de Silva, one of our Co-founders and the Vice President of Consulting. Based in Calgary, Santhush has been a cornerstone of our company for over 23 years. He guides our team in developing and delivering enterprise-grade solutions that cater to organizations of all sizes. His vision is to make high-quality, accessible services available to every business, ensuring successful delivery and customer satisfaction.

Santhush’s career spans significant roles at top-tier companies such as WestJet, Cenovus Energy, Shell Canada/US, ExxonMobil Canada, Suncor Energy, CompuCom, Precision Drilling, Shaw Communications, Flint Energy Services, CGI IS & Management Consultants, Alberta Health & Wellness, and Nintendo of Americas. He has led multimillion-dollar business transformations, managed large teams, and implemented innovative Business & IT solutions across industries like oil and gas, aviation, government, healthcare, telecommunications, event management, legal, broadcasting & media, and retail.

Holding a B.Comm in Information Technology Management and ITIL certification, Santhush combines his technical acumen with a passion for riding and building motorcycles and DJing. His skills span mergers & acquisitions, portfolio/program and project management, managed services, governance compliance and audit, service delivery, cyber security, disaster recovery, and data center services. Leading our Technology engagements is Nirosh de Silva, one of our Co-Founders and the Vice President of Technology, Nirosh leads with a forward-thinking approach, identifying new technologies that can significantly benefit customers. He excels in solving the most complex technical problems and developing innovative technical solutions. With a strong focus on strategic planning, Nirosh aligns technology strategies with the company’s business goals to ensure long-term success.

As a creative and collaborative IT professional with over 20 years of experience, Nirosh has had the privilege of working with esteemed global service providers and startups, including Brookfield, TD Bank, Fujitsu Consulting, Brookfield Power, Blue Cross Blue Shield, and Smithfield. His journey through these diverse organizations has provided him with advanced knowledge in engineering, operations, and major incident management, honed specifically within the unique environments of financial services, healthcare, energy, and technology sectors.

At organizations like Brookfield and Brookfield Power, he focused on developing and maintaining robust IT infrastructures, implementing cutting-edge cybersecurity technologies such as intrusion detection systems, and network security protocols to safeguard sensitive information and critical infrastructure. His tenure at TD Bank and Blue Cross Blue Shield allowed him to specialize in risk assessments and compliance, ensuring adherence to financial and healthcare industry standards like ISO 27001 and GDPR. In his role at Fujitsu, he honed his skills in security information and event management (SIEM) and advanced threat protection, aligning IT strategies with business objectives.

At Smithfield, his efforts were geared towards integrating identity and access management (IAM) systems, enhancing security frameworks, and championing a security-first approach across all operational facets. Constantly updating his expertise with the latest trends in AI-driven threat intelligence and cloud security architectures, he ensure that confidentiality, integrity, and availability are at the forefront of every solution I develop and oversee.

His comprehensive experience across these varied industries, combined with continuous professional development in emerging security technologies, positions him as a seasoned expert dedicated to fortifying IT infrastructures against evolving cybersecurity threats.

Elerie plays a crucial role in ensuring the seamless delivery of our services and overseeing our delivery centers. Her extensive background in IT infrastructure and operational excellence positions her as a key leader in driving our mission forward.

Elerie’s career journey includes pivotal roles at renowned companies such as Fujitsu Computer Products Corporation, Fujitsu America Inc., and TDOT Performance Ltd. At Fujitsu, she was instrumental in constructing the TSDP data center and command center, significantly enhancing system reliability and operational efficiency. At TDOT Performance Ltd., Elerie led the operational teams, implemented robust operational processes, and drove cost-saving initiatives through process optimization and automation. Her leadership in fostering a culture of continuous improvement and team cohesion has been vital in achieving organizational excellence.

Elerie holds a Bachelor of Science in Electronics and Communications Engineering and numerous professional certifications, including VMware Certified Professional and ITIL V3 Foundations. Her passion for immersive travel, culinary adventures, and nature photography reflects her dynamic and explorative personality. With a commitment to innovation and operational excellence, Elerie De Leon continues to be an invaluable asset to WLS.

As the Vice President of Strategic Programs, Robert Groves brings over two decades of expertise in Information Technology and Program Management to our team. Robert plays a pivotal role in steering the development and execution of strategic programs that align with our long-term vision. He ensures that all initiatives are delivered on time, within scope, and on budget, while continuously seeking opportunities for innovation and process improvement.

Robert is a visionary leader with a remarkable career marked by adeptness in both waterfall and agile software development methodologies, as well as the PMI project framework. His deep understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) ensures seamless project execution from conception to completion, driving innovation and excellence in every initiative he undertakes.

Before joining our team, Robert made significant strides at Shaw Communications, where he managed the IT online experience. He played a pivotal role in the redesign of shaw.ca and shawdirect.ca, as well as the implementation of their e-commerce platforms, enhancing the digital presence and functionality for millions of users.

Robert’s leadership extends beyond the corporate sector. He has contributed to the redesign and deployment of websites for organizations such as the Calgary West Central Primary Care Network, United Way of Calgary, and the Alberta College of Art & Design (ACAD). His strategic insights and innovative approach have consistently delivered transformative results.
